Introducing the Primary Spine Care Clinician Guide: Managing Back and Neck Pain in the Time of COVID-19

Dear Friend,

Like all of you, World Spine Care has watched as the world around us has changed. Though we are all doing our part to maintain social distancing, it is important that we pull together to continue to keep our communities safe and healthy. As a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic, most primary spine care clinicians who commonly treat or advise patients who are experiencing spinal pain are unable to see patients. This includes chiropractors, physical therapists, osteopaths, and family/general physicians.

Introducing: Patient and Clinician Guides to Managing Back and Neck Pain in the Time of COVID-19
For this reason, World Spine Care (WSC), in partnership with the Global Spine Care Initiative (GSCI), is proud to share the following resources that have been created to help patients and clinicians manage spinal pain in these times of social distancing:

Primary Spine Care Clinician Guide: Managing Back and Neck Pain in the Time of COVID-19

Patient Guide: For Assessing and Managing Back and Neck Pain in the Time of COVID-19

These guides were developed by a multidisciplinary panel of 28 spine care authorities and clinicians from 10 countries on 4 continents. They are provided for free as a public education service* in accordance with World Spine Care’s vision of a world in which everyone has access to the highest quality spine care possible. As practitioners, supporters, and leaders who believe in World Spine Care’s mission, we encourage you to pass these resources along to your networks and thank you for doing your part in helping to support social distancing and safe communities.

On behalf of all of us at World Spine Care, we wish you good health at this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Dr. Scott Haldeman,
Founder, World Spine Care
