Planning and Implementing
There is support at an international level for the use of Models of care for the management of MSK conditions. However, it is known that the development of a model can take extensive time and resources.
Having access to different models can help with the decision making and speed up the process. To help organizations access models of care, work is being undertaken at G-MUSC to identify the models that are current available around the world to manage the different MSK health care conditions. A review of the model including its components, strengths and weaknesses will be undertaken including recommendations on where the model can be most effectively implemented. This work will be targeted at helping organizations at a local, system and national level easily access the information required to optimize their ability to implement evidence-based practice.
The planning for this work is under development. Additional information can be obtained from Andrew Briggs who can be contacted at A.Briggs@curtin.edu.au or through the G-MUSC communications team at gmusc.office@gmail.com
