New versions of patient-public education programs on arthritis and on fracture prevention

United States Bone and Joint Initiative offer two fantastic patient-public education programs – Experts in Arthritis and Fit to a T, the latter on fracture prevention, bone health and osteoporosis.

The Presentation Guides for the two programs are available here Experts in Arthritis and Fit to a T

From USBJI “Each program comes with a Slide Set, handouts, the Presentation Guide for presenters, and presenter and organizer guidelines, and we would be pleased to send the complete packet on request. Our only request of you is to let us know when you present a session. The Presentation Guides (linked above) offer a quick comprehensive view of each program with an outline, learning objectives, key points, suggested questions, and references. You will see an image of the slides that are in the Slide Set in the top left hand corner of the slide-related pages in the Guide.

More than 1,000 live sessions of these programs have been presented to community gatherings across the USA by a local healthcare provider (physician, nurse, PA, PT, etc.). We would be delighted if these materials can be of use to you and used in other countries.  We are also happy for them to be translated into other languages. As it has not been possible to organize many live sessions this year most, still usually presented by a local healthcare provider, are being presented as webinar/Zoom sessions. This has opened up new opportunities to educate the public, but of course we look forward to resume holding community-based live sessions in the future.”
